Linda Blair couldn’t cope after The Exorcist
Linda Blair was unaware of the effects of the role as she was just 13 years old when she filmed The Exorcist. When she was only a teenager, she saw it as a work of fiction, but following the completion of the film, she had a period of extreme stress.
Even though she was young, everyone was asking her questions about possession, faith, and Catholicism. “It was just a terrible thing to go through as a teenager, and it kept adding to the pressure I was under,” she remarked.
