Isla Fisher almost drowned in Now You See Me
Isla Fisher put her own life in danger by performing stunts herself because she didn’t want to leave them to the professionals in Now You See Me. She was tied to a chain that got stuck when she was shooting an underwater magic trick.
The actress attempted to free the chain by swimming to the bottom of the tank, but her efforts were unsuccessful. She battled for three long minutes underwater, but no one helped because they thought she was performing wonderfully rather than actually drowning. Fortunately, before everything became tragic, a stunt coordinator noticed she was in actual danger and triggered a quick-release mechanism.
