Jaimie Alexander suffered back injury in Thor: The Dark World
As Jaimie Alexander featured an Asgardian warrior in the Thor film series, it is unfortunate to say that she does not possess the same superhuman skills as her role. The actress suffered a tumble during one of her own stunts for her role as Sif in Thor: The Dark World, which sent her to the hospital for a week.
She told MTV, “I tore my right rhomboid, dislocated my left shoulder, and chipped eleven vertebrae in addition to herniating a disk in my thoracic spine.” Her right side was temporarily stuck after the spill. Her career may have ended as a result of that one incident, which could also have seriously harmed her health.
