Do you recall being unable to take showers for weeks after watching Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho? Similar to how Jaws made people scared of the ocean, the movie made everyone afraid to take a shower.
She was also negatively impacted by the well-known scene in which lead actress Janet Leigh is killed in the Bates Motel shower; she never had the confidence to take a shower again. According to reports, she was forced to resort to taking baths, keep her curtain open, and lock all of her windows and doors. Janet is poor!
