Coffee businesses have grown used to receiving odd requests from customers. Customers frequently stray from the menu, and baristas often handle complex orders, so it shouldn’t have been an issue when this customer requested a drink without sugar.
You would assume that this worker would be applauded for making the menu more diabetic-friendly since being inclusive is not a good enough excuse to be dismissed. How unjust that is!
