It can be risky as well as unprofessional to ignore harmful working circumstances. It sounds like this individual identified a significant issue and informed as many people as possible, but they had to take extreme actions since nothing was being done.
At times, an extreme measure is necessary to accomplish tasks, and to make matters worse, their supervisor attempted to conceal the situation! Even though their manager was upset, we’re delighted this employee was watching out for their fellow employees.
