Snobby Bosses
This is such a case of entitlement. Some managers are just not very kind. This sounds like a ready-to-be-filed HR complaint because the person did nothing wrong. If their supervisor is concerned that their “lowly employee” is making their child appear terrible, then they need to set their priorities straight.
Many people enjoy being showy or owning expensive items, and while that’s acceptable, it shouldn’t influence how you treat other employees—especially if you’re the boss—!
