Wrong Number
Listen, it’s reasonable to anticipate consequences if you fail to show up for work. It makes sense that your manager would be upset with you because being a no-show damages one’s reputation in the workplace.
However, it seems that the manager in this instance really went off on the wrong guy! Despite being completely misinformed, they did say some unpleasant things.
