25+ Reasons Why Beggars Should Not Be Choosers

Squeaky Clean

Who doesn’t enjoy freebies? Freebies are always preferable, and a complimentary dishwasher is just awesome! However, that wasn’t enough for this person, who needed further freebies to justify the drive. Really? We find it unbelievable!

We are, however, offering the seller half of what they were asking because we adore their sense of humor. Which begs the question, what is half off of free?

Waterworks

Why do women always assume that men will cover the cost of their meals? People, it’s 2021! Even if it’s wonderful when the man pays, it’s only right to divide the cost equally and let go of expectations.

And instead of criticizing someone for ordering water when you are treated to dinner, simply be grateful that someone is covering the tab! How impolite! Being frugal with one’s finances is very acceptable!

Military Spouses

Giving military veterans discounts is a great way to show your appreciation for their sacrifices made while serving your country. But that is only applicable to those who served in the armed forces, not to their spouses.

It’s not the same, even while we recognize the sacrifices this military spouse made while their partner was serving, and asking for free beverages is a unique kind of entitlement!

Not Music to Your Ears

How often have you given a buddy in need something special to borrow? There is an expectation that you will receive your item back when you do this.

However, instead of giving back their friend’s wireless headphones, this individual chose to keep them, and when their friend requested for them back, they insisted that they buy a new pair! Can you even believe this boldness? After this, we have to wonder if they are still friends.

$25 Computer

Have you ever heard of spending $25.00 on a computer? That would be a great deal, even though we know that purchasing old electronics is less expensive! Furthermore, this offer appears to be an error at first—at least one or two zeros are missing—but the seller was simply being extremely kind!

Even worse, they added ten additional bucks after being called out. A PC for $35? Really? It’s priceless how the merchant responded when I bought a plastic toy!

Doggone Cheap

It’s a fact that not everything in life is fair. For example, men’s haircuts are usually less expensive than women’s, and pet haircuts are usually more expensive than both. However, that’s life!

And this pet groomer must have received so many complaints about how costly pet grooming is that they made a list of the top ten reasons. We won’t lie—the list is quite genuine, and we laughed a lot at the explanations!

Free Entertainment

You can add friends and relatives to your Netflix and Hulu accounts without having to pay an additional price, which is one of their nicest features. And a lot of people act on it! Although receiving something for free is fine, this person wouldn’t accept a no and wasn’t prepared to pay the $7 a month or create a new email!

It appears that they won’t be receiving the password anytime soon, judging by their hostility and slurs.

Free Beer

This sign, what is it even? Although it appears to be something a beggar might hold, it only describes two different kinds of beggars and makes no requests. While the second group is picky, the first group is grateful.

Naturally, Terry is the better beggar since he is content that there is free beer rather than whining and attempting to obtain a better situation. That is the kind of beggar that all people ought to be!

Pay Artists

Not only do beggars sometimes seek free items, but sometimes, large corporations do as well. Similar to this well-known hand embroidery thread firm, which openly held a competition and asked artists to create patterns for them at no cost.

Not only that, but the artist had to give up the rights to their pattern, and there was no award! Unsurprisingly, the responses were excellent, and we fully agree: make-up artists!

Christmas Spirit

Even though Christmas is meant to be one of the happiest seasons of the year, many people find that having enough money to buy gifts for their loved ones may be quite stressful. However, it goes too far to use guilt and forced to negotiate a lower-than-advertised price—especially when children are involved.

There’s no reason for playing with people’s feelings around the holidays! We also can’t find anything wrong with this seller’s snide retort.

No Job, No Problem

It’s difficult to find work while you’re homeless since many employers won’t hire you. But occasionally, it’s just easier to beg than to work.

And that’s exactly how this beggar with a “Anything Helps” sign felt as he declined a full-time job offering $10 per hour since he was more successful begging! Is it really true? It seems that nothing works and having a job is insufficient! Our blood is boiling!

“Play Has No Limits”

Though there’s nothing wrong with asking for assistance, what we really wanted wasn’t a free PS4. To make matters worse, one Facebook user demanded that it come with three specific games: Grand Theft Auto, Fortnite, and Spider-Man and that it be used or unused.

What kind of individual makes these requests? We can’t help but think that this must have been some kind of joke or someone had hacked their social media account.

The Art of Haggling

It’s an art form, and some people are really skilled at haggling, while others might need some improvement. Although it’s acceptable to request a lesser price, you should consider it a victory rather than continuing to look for a better offer if the seller agrees.

This text ought to have been content that they could reduce the cost of the table and chairs from $135 to $90. It appears that they will be spending $100 now.

A Photo Finish

It’s not normal to expect friends to do things for free, especially when it’s their profession; friends are meant to be there for you when you need them. Even if they are your friends, they still have expenses to cover and a livelihood to earn.

Additionally, this person objected to their friend trying to charge them for engagement photos since they wanted free ones. What’s worse is that they hired a new photographer rather than helping their pal. Ouch!

Really Mark?

Here’s another haggler who wasn’t afraid to demand a steep price cut on a computer—despite the item being listed for $1500—wanting to pay only $150!

After that failed, he made an attempt to establish a connection with Sheldon by claiming they shared the same name. Was he really expecting that to work? Mark was called out by the real Sheldon, even if his name wasn’t Sheldon!

Don’t Mess with Happiness

Celeb gossip are all that certain folks can’t get enough of. We discover that individuals tend to become unhealthily immersed in other people’s lives when their own lives are lacking in drama.

We’re sure Millie Bobby Brown doesn’t have the time or energy to see people debating about her love life online because she has already made her decision about who she wants to spend the rest of her life with and has had to deal with a lot of garbage in order to get there. All it demonstrates is that people are overly idle.

Unwelcome Guest

We cringe at this interaction. After their surgery, the first person offered to kindly house the second, but the second person decided she wanted a board as well as room.

Although we don’t know David, it sounds like he should be paying a lot more than $100 for this guy to serve as this picky beggar’s cook, driver, caregiver, and who knows what else.

Drawing Lessons

You can’t expect an artist to draw you for free when you want them to. It’s already difficult for artists to support themselves, so asking them to work for free is strongly discouraged.

At least this artist catered to the woman’s request and had a decent sense of humor. She probably didn’t anticipate things turning out this way.

Surcharges

To us, this just screams Karen. If you’ve ever worked in retail, you are aware of how frequently customers come in requesting discounts after claiming to have discovered a better deal online.

It occurs more frequently than we can count! And why not just purchase it online if that’s the case? In any case, we wish we had the option to impose a premium, as this store repeatedly threatened to do. It’s quite clever!

“The US of A”

Whoa! How impressive is that resume! Megan is not only “authorized to work in the US of A,” but her demands also make us chuckle aloud. She can work with mayonnaise since it grosses her out, but she is willing to work three or five days a week from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Those are extremely stringent demands! We can’t help but feel that something is lacking from her resume—possibly her past schooling, experience, or skills?

A House and Car

This is something you don’t see every day: a person holding a sign warning people not to give money to beggars because they are scammers. That shows dedication!

Not only would this beggar not accept anything less than $5, but he also found out guy was driving a brand-new Jeep and lived in a wonderful house! Is it really true? Those five-dollar bills have obviously been piling up.

Used Cars

When you learn that the thing you were interested in has been sold, it’s very disappointing and typically ends the conversation. However, this guy was prepared to make an offer and was still desperate to find out how much the CRV was sold for. Furthermore, the deal was less!

Not only that, but they also attempted to intimidate the seller into giving the car back! Is it really true?

World’s Worst Boss

Grateful employers are just as awful as beggars when it comes to pushing us over the edge! And this boss—who demands utterly absurd things of his staff—may be the worst of them all. This is just too much of a sign!

Who wants their staff to work weekends, come in early and leave late, cancel vacation plans, and not demand a raise? Really? There has to be a joke involved here.

Just $20

Entering into a relationship with someone entails taking on their burdens, including their kids. Unless your significant other makes it a problem, this doesn’t need to be a problem.

When this woman learned about a trip they had taken, she begged her partner for some additional cash. Asking your boyfriend for money is not only awkward, but unless they are the baby daddy, they are not obligated to provide for your children. What a joke is this?

Sparking Controversy

It might be challenging to determine whether a price is fair for the job and whether you’re being taken advantage of if you have no prior experience with cars.

Being an auto repairman and having to deal with people who are angry at your pricing because they think they are experts must be terrible. Even so, this individual exhibits good self-management when dealing with someone who openly seeks to hurt them.

Prayer Hands

Selling a car that isn’t functioning well can be challenging, particularly if it’s an older model. Come on, though—you have to be able to find anything better than $20.

Perhaps you shouldn’t be trying to purchase a car if you are in a difficult financial condition. While we are all in favor of negotiating with others to get a better deal, this is absurd. And as though that might lessen the blow of the humble offer, they added the prayer hands.
