To us, this just screams Karen. If you’ve ever worked in retail, you are aware of how frequently customers come in requesting discounts after claiming to have discovered a better deal online.
It occurs more frequently than we can count! And why not just purchase it online if that’s the case? In any case, we wish we had the option to impose a premium, as this store repeatedly threatened to do. It’s quite clever!
