While playing video games, one can pass the time on a long flight by focusing entirely on the little screen, which has vibrant colors and captivating sound effects. But that doesn’t mean someone should ignore their surroundings because they are engaged in a game.
Whether his seatmates wanted to hear the loud sound effects or not, this guy was playing his game for hours on end at maximum volume. Consideration and politeness for others? Try again later. The game is over.
Daddy longlegs
In relation to extending your legs, consider this individual who chose to reach upwards in search of a spot to rest them. You don’t witness that on every flight, much less every day.
We’re delighted the photographer thought it was important enough to capture what must have been an amazing sight for the passengers on this trip. Recall, friends, that while being tall can be enjoyable, it’s definitely not when you’re flying.
‘Perfect time for a manicure’
First of all, how this person even got a nail clipper through security is a mystery to us. But what is really, really puzzling, is how they thought it was ok to bust the tool out of their travel bag to trim their nails during a flight.
Nail-clipping is just one of those things one should never do in public. It’s the whole package of the annoying click-click-click sound, plus the anxious feeling of having to duck every time to hide from flying fingernails.
‘This is the best place to break up with my girlfriend’
There is never a perfect way to end a relationship; it is always difficult to do so. But I think we can all agree that doing it in an airplane isn’t the greatest idea there is.
The passengers who are watching the entire situation find it uncomfortable as well as very embarrassing for the individual who is breaking up with. In addition, the (former) pair will have to spend hours of awkward quiet sitting next to each other on a long flight.
Keep your hair to yourself
Are we just unaware that tossing one’s hair over the back of the seat is a totally acceptable and common practice these days, or do individuals not consider tucking their hair behind their head before bowing off?
On a flight, we would be so irritated if someone did this in the row in front of us that we would just fling their hair back over. We don’t think this kind of behavior is acceptable, and we have no patience for it.
‘Nope, I don’t need to go the bathroom to brush my teeth’
Dental health is vital, and we would praise this person in other contexts for his efforts to maintain good oral hygiene and fresh breath, but really—brushing your teeth in your seat, next to a fellow passenger? Extremely forbidden.
Although we understand that aircraft restrooms aren’t the most convenient locations in the world, why can’t you give your fellow travelers the privacy they need to wash their teeth? All we can hope is that this man did not also sex in public.
Don’t bother me
On a flight, the temperature can drop significantly at times, so people are constantly looking for effective ways to stay warm. Nevertheless, we have never witnessed someone warm up like this individual is doing right now.
They appear to have completely wrapped themselves in an owned sweatshirt, obstructing any sort of clear view of the outside world. This might work if you’re not just cold but also exhausted.
‘Gobble gobble, y’all’
Those who are afraid of flying can benefit greatly from having an emotional support animal. Although cats and pigs can also perform this crucial task, dogs are the most prevalent pets to do so.
We have never before seen a turkey used as an emotional support animal, until now. Those large birds can be rather noisy, and they do require a lot of area. Some of the other passengers probably thought it was going to be served for Thanksgiving dinner.
‘I’ll present the person behind me with a hair cascade’
Given that she clearly would like to show her long locks for public view, this woman must be extremely proud of them. She didn’t sit with her hair down as a normal person would.
She tossed her hair over the headrest so that whoever was flying behind her could appreciate it the entire time. She undoubtedly believes she is doing a good thing, but the man’s expression tells us otherwise. He is not impressed at all.
‘Smell my foot’
It’s debatable whether or not taking off your shoes during a lengthy flight is impolite, but what this person is doing in this picture is just wrong. It is incorrect on a plethora of levels.
They are utilizing someone else’s armrest, to start. They use it as a foot rest after that. The young girl’s expression indicates that the foot odor they are spreading is not at all nice. It’s simply too much to bear. People, improve yourself!
‘Must. Occupy. More than. One seat.’
Manspreading is an unusual condition where some males experience an obsessive drive to take up multiple seats on public transit (supposedly even in airplanes). They’ll sit as wide apart as they can, as shown in the figure below, in order to achieve this.
What’s amazing about this situation is that they not only entered their neighbor’s leg area, but they also extended their arm much beyond the boundaries of their arm rest. This man is committed to his work, I can tell.
‘Popping a zit: there’s no time like the present’
We understand that having a zit can make a person feel self-conscious, and that they would do everything to get rid of it, but please, please, please refrain from doing anything, anyplace, at any time.
In broad view of other passengers, this is the kind of action that should not be attempted while flying (some would argue you shouldn’t do it at all, because it hurts the skin). My dear, put that mirror away. For the benefit of both you and other people.
‘Look at little Ben having so much fun’
Anyone who has ever traveled with a child understands how mentally taxing it can be, therefore we normally give in to our child’s desire to entertain themselves for longer than five minutes in order to get some rest.
We are aware, nevertheless, that we shouldn’t enjoy our slumber at the expense of the patience of a helpless stranger. Please tell your youngster to stop poking the person behind them if you witness them doing so. You know it won’t be cute after the 752nd time, even though it might be cute the first or second time.

This man wanted to view the movie he downloaded on a different device, but he also needed to check his business emails. There’s a lot of technology out there, but not enough room. What should a guy do?
“I’ll just use this other person’s tray table,” he seemed to have thought. Seeking permission? No one has time for that, I assure you. They probably reasoned that since they were only utilizing the corner of the tray, “that person won’t even notice.”
‘I don’t want to ruin my pretty accessories’
To ensure a spot for their bags in the overhead compartment, a number of individuals rush to board the aircraft as soon as boarding begins. Although there should be space for everyone, people who act in ways like the ones in the picture below make it less enjoyable for everyone else.
Was it really OK for them to take up so much space for a single shoe and hat? “To avoid ruining the hat, I did not place it inside my luggage.” When they open the overhead compartment at their destination and observe how every other suitcase moves during the flight, they’re going to be in for a surprise, won’t they?
Did I forget something?
This photo was taken in the airport, not on the aircraft, but this traveler looks like she knows how to handle her bags. It appears that she might have brought too much or forgotten anything.
In any event, it’s obvious that she’s making some last-minute packing adjustments, and we can’t help but wonder what would have caused this? Knowing about all of her personal belongings, we can hardly think that she likes the full airport experience.
Are you gonna eat that?
Although airline cuisine isn’t the best, it can be satisfying to eat something while watching a movie after sitting for several hours. That person did not anticipate what happened here, though.
It appears that a young person occupying a seat next to him noticed something he liked and went for it! This person obviously found it amusing and wanted to snap a picture of it. I guess he didn’t worry if some of the food was lost.
Hello ponytail
Things may get fairly tight on an airplane when there are a lot of people in the same cabin as us. It’s crucial that we make an effort to be as conscious of our surroundings as we can for this reason.
This woman, as you can see by the way she pulled her ponytail over the back of the person seated behind her, didn’t seem to give a damn. However, it’s possible that she was merely pulling a practical joke. Perhaps she was unaware of it all. For whoever was seated behind her, it couldn’t have been enjoyable in any scenario.
Optimal clothing rack
Because, you know, it’s entirely usual to leave your clothing out to dry while flying? Nope. I apologize, but that is not only unusual, but also not very considerate of those around you. Flying is difficult enough without adding the hassle of dealing with various articles of clothes that don’t even belong to you.
It is likely that the person’s dryer broke down the day before their flight. Or perhaps all they want is for everyone to see how stylish they are. We really like the latter better.
Playing footsie
Tall people find flying the most difficult. There is just not enough space for them to move their legs in a comfortable manner, unless they are seated in first class.
They search for any available space to spread their feet, and occasionally they find themselves approaching the feet of the person in front of them too closely. It appears that this individual not only went beyond his bounds, but was also caught!
Unexpected chills
This is really funny right now. It appears that a child has decided to reach behind his chair and begin removing the hair off the person behind him! You truly can’t make stuff like this up.
The funniest thing about it, though, is that the child wasn’t even stopped by the individual whose hair was being yanked out. Instead, they decided to snap a photo and record it, which made us all laugh a lot.
You missed the garbage
Nobody enjoys a mess, whether they are at a store, on an airplane, or on a bus. It’s also a good idea to be mindful of other people, particularly when confined in a small location such as on an airplane with lots of other people.
It appears that the individual either didn’t care or wasn’t really conscious of the mess he was creating. Placing a full tray in the aisle isn’t the answer, as we all know how frustrating it is to have nowhere to put it when flying.
Snowstorm
Talk about having something to occupy your time while flying, huh? You can’t help but feel sorry for the flight attendant who will have to clean up this disgusting mess left by this customer on the plane.
Occasionally, travelers overlook this reality and permit themselves to act anyway they choose while seated. Having said that, it’s unclear what exactly is in this mess. Confetti, please? Snow? Any more suggestions?
Lay off the stickers
When the flight attendant noticed this, she snapped this picture because she was really agitated. Although the child who sat next to her didn’t make any mess, they did put a few stickers on their plate.
The flight attendant, who was visibly furious, criticized the child’s parents on Instagram, stating that they ought to be more stringent about what their kids are allowed to do while flying. Parenting can be challenging, but forcing flight attendants to remove these stickers is not polite.
What sign?
This gentleman is obviously breaking a sign on the wall, even though what he is doing doesn’t appear all that horrible. When travelers believe they have unrestricted control over the aircraft, flight attendants take offense. They are quite rigid about following the rules.
Yes, the passengers pay for the flight and the flight attendants are paid, but regulations are regulations. We wonder if the attendant truly woke this person up to advise them to put their feet down if they were asleep.
Sandal pouch
There is plenty of space on the floor, so why did this passenger feel the need to put their sandals in the pocket? Another flight attendant shared this photo on social media.
This flight attendant is right when she says that it is impolite of this passenger to place their filthy sandals in the pouches while other passengers are frequently placing their personal goods in them. Furthermore, where are they going to keep their book and phone now?
Just turn it
While this person didn’t quite cross the line, we still found it amusing, and we think you will too after hearing the full story. Everyone has experienced the struggle of trying to find the optimal spot to fit in a large carry-on.
Before a flight attendant arrived and informed him that he was packing his bags incorrectly, the man had made every effort to fit his belongings into the compartment.
Faulty microwave
We won’t lie—this is a little bizarre right here. Was this person under the impression that placing his pizza close to the light would help it warm up? Though it’s unclear, he appears to be upholding a mysterious objective.
It’s evident that someone else found what he was doing odd as well since they took a photo and posted it online so that the rest of us could also be confused. After all of that, we hope the pizza turned out to taste decent.
Magazine mess
If the flight attendants don’t have yet another massive mess to clean up after. Once more, one particular traveler truly overindulged in magazines? Maybe they were offended by anything in the magazine.
There are a few photographs of models, as far as we can tell, and not much else is visible. I have no idea what’s so disturbing about that. Either way, leaving such a big mess is never acceptable, and the flight attendants were obviously not too pleased about it.
Picky picky
Like the rule about cutting your nails short, there is another unwritten guideline that people occasionally forget: “Don’t clean the dust and lint between your toes in a public place.” This young person is obviously acting in such a manner, and a flight attendant actually took a photo of it.
Things do happen when traveling by plane. There is no policy prohibiting him from doing this, so perhaps he assumed that others would just ignore him.
Curtain calling
This girl is similar to the young lady whose photo we previously showed you, who chose to throw her hair over the seat in front of her. Her hair is longer and completely let down, concealing the screen, which makes the scenario possibly even worse.
The person seated here obviously found it amusing enough to take a picture of it, although we assume they advised the woman to straighten her hair. Or at least that’s what we’re hoping.
Lounging freely
Now, take a look at what we have. The young lady is seen happily relaxing on the aircraft and appears to have chosen to place her feet on a ledge. Although it’s difficult to tell from this position what she’s putting her feet on, it doesn’t appear to be acceptable.
It’s obvious that someone felt this way when they captured this moment on camera, yet it’s also possible they were just trying to get a decent shot.
Some toes for your nose
In addition to being inconvenient to have a stranger’s foot take up your chair armrest, it is even more annoying when these feet smell bad.
Really, if you’re going to be this disrespectful, at least see how your foot odor is doing. Nobody wants to spend a long flight, much alone the entire flight, smelling like rotting cheese.
Grandma’s little stretch
It doesn’t seem like the best use of your flying time to be dodging punches to the face from some quiet grandmother who is simply holding her hands together and extending her limbs.
To be honest, we would much rather read a book or watch a movie than play dodgeball from the row in front using Grandma’s joined hands. It would be best if this guy took hold of her hands and threw them back over the seat.
