You do some things as a child that you don’t realize at the time were not as innocent as you first believed. This guy didn’t understand the immorality of his seven-year-old self until this question was posed on Reddit.
We’re confident that no one would have the courage to turn away a child who was soliciting donations for a charity, even though they knew the money would go directly into his pocket. What a great backstory for a villain!
