I told my parents that I didn’t like him, and from what I remember, they didn’t seem to think much of him either. It goes without saying that he never returned to our home. Shortly afterward, the mother of my brother’s buddy vanished and was subsequently discovered deceased. As it happens, he killed her. Something about this man bothered me even as a small child, and I have never been able to get over it.”
