Life Expenses
We are aware that modern living involves handling your finances wisely and avoiding expending large sums of money on pointless or useless items.
However, in the past, the same amount of money could buy far more. Therefore, the majority of people find that things like starting a family are simply too costly to do these days. Imagine being forced to forgo having children in order to save money! Such sorrow.
Sugar Rush
The idea that a seemingly insignificant error might end up costing an enormous $800 is simply ridiculous. Not only that, but it would have literally cost this gentleman his life if he hadn’t been able to pay for the expense of refilling his insulin.
Furthermore, the person who discovered insulin originally promised that it should always be available and affordable for everyone. It appears that the memo was misplaced.
McModern Times
This defies our understanding! Nevertheless, we can clearly identify both images. In what precise manner was this accomplished? Somehow, in front of our very eyes, McDonald’s changed throughout the years from this vibrant utopia to a really gloomy, gray headquarters.
Have you noticed any changes to these McDonald’s buildings, too? How could we have missed it? This post-modern revelation has us completely perplexed.
Bureau de Climate Change
Despite the fact that everyone enjoys talking about it, nobody actually knows how to save the environment. Actually, all we’re doing is attempting to avoid giving it too much thought.
which makes sense given that nobody knows what to do! However, isn’t it true that more people would undoubtedly be paying attention to this if it were a major bank or other financial institution?
Fun Budget
This one is rather depressing. We are all aware of how crucial it is to occasionally take a break from work and spend time with our loved ones. After all, if you never have time to unwind and enjoy life, what good is it to work hard and get money?
However, these individuals are warning us that taking a break will harm our careers. Alright, let’s get started on that 20-hour shift.
Age Appropriate
Isn’t it absurd to consider this? The law places various age limitations on purchasing items and obtaining tattoos or piercings.
However, we had never considered that we are still relatively young when we are thrown into the world of student debt before we truly comprehend how it operates. Should someone be unreliable in making tattoo selections, why would you give them such a large loan?
Minimum Wage
There is undoubtedly a mindset in our world that values and respects those who work really hard and critically for very little money. It’s encouraging to see these attitudes growing since it’s crucial that we show these people how much we value them.
Unfortunately, though, you cannot express gratitude when paying debts. Why don’t they just… you know, give them more money if everyone is praising them so much?
Stuck in the Past
Lol at this one. Even though we like to think of the good old US of A as being the spearheader of all things brilliant, the truth is in many ways we’re behind a lot of the world in everything.
It’s only when you head further afield and experience different countries, that you realize all of the things we were told growing up that were the best and most modern inventions, are all different and more progressive in other countries.
Flying High
Can you imagine the excitement that accompanied the invention of airplanes? The excitement of visiting any country you desire—before, it required a protracted boat voyage lasting weeks or months!
And we venture that the original passengers on those planes thought that air travel would become extremely opulent in the future, but sadly, things turned out otherwise. Though its widespread acceptance is commendable, it also indicates a significant decline in the quality of the treats.
Young Money
One another day, one more instance of millennials and their avocado toast being held responsible for every evil in the world. While it’s true that this generation appreciates some frills and delights, it’s also true that they face challenging financial circumstances.
Even if millennials prefer not to save money or spend it wisely, it’s important to recognize that they will never be as financially independent as members of the preceding generation, no matter how much money they manage to accumulate.
Hot in Herre
Isn’t this one quite frightening? All of us have heard stories about global warming and climate change when we were growing up. We joked that we wished summer would last a little longer, but we honestly didn’t think anything would happen—especially not in our lifetimes.
But there’s no arguing that the world’s weather has changed significantly in recent years, and temperatures are unquestionably rising. terrifying content.
Cow Tinted Glasses
This one seems pretty wonderful at first glance. Why not give cows access to cutting edge technologies to help them feel content and at ease? Perhaps as a result of the technology’s ability to replicate the sensation of being in a field.
If only there were another way to harness the power of nature so that cows could have this experience! Any suggestions? Someone?
Child’s Pay
This is just incredibly incorrect in so many ways. Not only did this underprivileged child utilize his allowance, which he had saved for a long time, to cover the expenses of FEEDING HUNGRY CHILDREN, but does anyone in the world honestly believe that this is a happy ending?
Breaking: It’s not charming when there is so little food that feeding children forces people into debt and requires a minor to provide a handout. It’s not cute at all, really.
City Life
Why does the city take so damn long to get things done? And occasionally, like this man did, people choose to act independently of the system rather than waiting.
He completed the steps ahead of schedule and at a significantly lower cost than the municipality. We find it incomprehensible that the city then demolished them.
Window Shopping
Something like this would be unimaginable to read about in a dystopian fiction book. Oh no, this is just too unrealistic, you would say! Working conditions could never grow that terrible, and nobody could ever be THAT cruel. Someone would undoubtedly speak up!
Sadly, though, this was actuality, and someone got in trouble for staring out of a window. Bad times.
That Floored Us
After a long day of work, those few minutes of waiting for a subway can feel like a lifetime. A nice seat on a bench makes those minutes go by just a little bit faster.
However, in one fell swoop, the municipality took away seats for the tired, the weary, the pregnant, the elderly, the disabled, and the homeless, in order to keep people from having a slightly more comfortable place to sleep. Real nice, New York.
No Good Deed
This worker at The Home Depot witnessed a mother in the parking lot yelling for assistance while a man attempted to kidnap her child. The girl was ultimately spared when he chased after the man and dialed 911.
His employer fired him for his bravery rather than recognizing it. We’re not interested in learning what additional behaviors they would not tolerate if his activities violated their employment regulations. It’s imperative that The Home Depot reorganize its priorities.
Measly Minimum Wage
Being an adult comes with a never-ending list of expenses that must be met in order to survive. It also goes without saying that a livable wage is not the same as the minimum wage, which is what so many people are forced to work for.
We yearn for a society in which wages are commensurate with one’s worth and sufficient to cover fundamental needs. Whatever is better than the worrisomely low minimum wage that is in place right now, whether it is $15, $25, or $30.
High Interesting Times
There is an old curse that wishes for “interesting times to come.” It implies that bad things happen more frequently when times are more exciting.
However, given how crippling and unachievable student loan debt is today, we question whether they are genuinely discussing that kind of interest. Considering that it is undoubtedly a dreadful curse.
Hot Take
Whoa, this one has so much to love. We simply don’t know where to start in this situation. Which section is our favorite? Is it because Domino’s staff work so hard in front of a hot oven to deliver hot pizzas to customers, yet they never get to enjoy any of the delicious food?
Or is it just that Dominos laughs at it? Or could it be that they are so humorously comparing their cherished employees to zoo or farm animals?
Therapy Sessions
We’re always trying to reach our full potential and accomplish the next best thing. We’ll do it at pretty much any cost, even if it’s impacting our sense of happiness.
And sometimes it takes our therapists to point out the flaw with this mindset. Angela’s therapist wasn’t afraid to tell her like it is and it looks like she was in complete agreement.
Birthday Wishes
Whoa! One of the healthiest posts we’ve seen in a while has had to be this one. We have to give this large company credit for recognizing the efforts of this devoted worker with a heartfelt birthday post.
We find it unbelievable that he has been grinning broadly and welcoming visitors for more than 50 years. Indeed, happy birthday!
Starry Night
These days, ads may be seen everywhere. You can’t really avoid them—they seem to be everywhere you look, in restrooms, doctor’s offices, and the metro.
However, can you picture spending a romantic evening gazing up at the stars with your significant other and actually seeing them? Ouch! That would definitely kill the vibes. It’s preferable to leave this concept on the internet.
Terrible Example
It’s interesting how the amount of individuals who genuinely receive welfare can vary depending on how one defines who needs it. This woman was used by Bill Clinton as an example of someone who had overcome poverty and was no longer in need of assistance.
She still required welfare, even though she was no longer receiving it. She just no longer met the qualifications. When we deny people the necessities of life, what a depressing world we live in.
Out of This World
Whoa! This has a science fiction feel to it, but instead of the typical dystopian horror fantasy, it takes place in a utopian society where everything is ideal.
However, this isn’t a dream; rather, it’s a genuine person’s recollection of what America was like in the past, when circumstances were different. The idea that they could prevent starvation while yet having the resources to send a man to the moon is astounding.
Sneaking Around
If a product appears to be sold out on the internet, it may be indicating that it is in high demand. We are furious over this basket of damaged sneakers that were done so as to prevent them from being sold again.
This excess of sneakers could have been used in a lot of ways to help those who cannot afford high-quality footwear. Why has it come to pass in this world that we would prefer to discard goods than provide them to those in need?
Ball and Chain
Ouch! This one struck us right in the tender spot. The expression “the old ball and chain” to describe one’s wife is what makes it so tragic. But these days, a lot of folks can only dream about being married!
Because nowadays, before a young man can even obtain a woman to make jokes about holding him back in life, he has to overcome enormous obstacles like educational indebtedness or medical bills.
Ambitious Goal
The advertisement behind the Shell ad was incredibly creative in that just half of the phrases were intentionally removed. How someone saw it, we’re not sure.
Regardless of what the gas firms say, their primary goal remains to maximize profits while showing minimal regard for the environment. They get away with it, too, because cars are dependent on petrol everywhere. What a chaotic world we are in.
Life Goals
Life now is so much more difficult than it was half a century ago. A high school diploma used to be sufficient to land a decent career. And let’s not even discuss the high cost of home ownership. It’s practically unfeasible nowadays!
It is impossible to avoid wondering what life will be like in fifty years. Hopefully, things get better.
Fight the Man
People have the right to demonstrate in support of issues that are important to them. But more just causes need to be championed than their opulent, ultra-expensive autos experiencing a few problems.
Please don’t starve yourself in an attempt to attract Elon Musk’s attention. It seems to us that he designs things and doesn’t want to stay around to see the results when they don’t turn out the way he had hoped. Look for another cause to fight for.
Beating the System
Why is it that until we apply for our first credit card, we are unaware of credit scores? Furthermore, it will be too late by then.
Although it appears that this individual has exploited the system, the secret is to start early and have your parents raise your credit score. We can’t help but ask why our children aren’t learning these important skills in school!
Money Hungry
Whoa! Seems too wonderful to be true, nearly. All you have to do to keep the $3 million inside is crack through this 3M bulletproof glass. Is it really true?
It’s even less complicated than hitting the lotto. If if it were that simple to become rich. However, we have to say that this marketing is among the best we’ve ever seen.
City Living
Take a look at this amazing studio that is for rent! Completely equipped with all the modern conveniences, a comfortable bed, and a wonderful town view.
If this weren’t such a horrible place where someone who is unfortunate must live, it would be humorous. Though a warm supper and a roof over their heads would certainly cheer them up more than drawings on the wall, that is how we like to think of them.
Life of Luxury
Do you recall your childhood dreams of being a millionaire as an adult? Sitting there, you’d think of vast houses a la Warbucks, big swimming pools, and a butler at your service.
But then reality sets in, and you realize that many people these days can’t even afford to treat themselves to the simple pleasure of being alive. A luxurious lifestyle? It’s more like a luxury IS life.
Workers of the World
When we consider it, this one is really ridiculous. How is it that such a sizable portion of the populace is employed by the same business? Although it’s a common joke among us that companies like Amazon are going to take over the world, those statistics make for some very uneasy laughing.
Something about 1984 comes to mind when you consider how embedded Apple and Amazon’s systems are throughout our entire civilization.
Those Who Can
It’s incredible how dedicated someone can be to their studies, training hard to obtain the necessary credentials and enter their desired field. It is incredibly motivating!
However, after all that effort, you discover that the vocation they so fervently desired to pursue doesn’t even pay more than a local bartending position. Not a dig at the bartenders! Where’s the payoff, though?
Potato Famine
This is very sad! One would think that a food bank would be the ideal location for individuals who are extremely impoverished and finding it difficult to make ends meet to obtain some much-needed necessities.
Indeed, it is! However, much less is available for them to use when you take into account that they don’t even have gas or electricity to prepare the food they are given.
