Sick as a Dog
The dog gobbled up a whole pound of candy corn, and we couldn’t make him throw up quickly enough. Worried about his health, the owner rushed him to the vet. To our surprise, not only did everyone tease him for his candy craving, but the vet handed us a hefty $500 bill. The vet casually mentioned that the dog was a bit dehydrated.
It was a lesson in both pet care and the consequences of indulging in too much candy. However, after that incident, the owner has kept all the candies out of the reach of this dog as he does not want to pay $500 again.
