Patience is a Virtue
Most things pass away over time, and things that dogs have chewed are no exception to this rule. When this dog swallowed the silicone wrapper around the muffin, the vet told the owners that the dog would eventually pass out and they would have to give it some time.
Maybe the dog deliberately ate the cake holder to educate the owners some life lessons about the importance of patience. Take this as a lesson learned.
