It’s normal for parents to feel proud of their children for even the most minor accomplishments, as this will help them feel more confident in themselves.
Some parents, though, ought to be well-informed before publicly disparaging others. It makes sense that parents would want to brag about their children, but it doesn’t look good when it reveals how foolish they are. Perhaps this mother needs to attend her daughter’s lessons the next time!
