Canada has its fair share of stereotypes. Besides their funny way of saying common English words and their tendency to be overly kind to everyone, apparently, they also tend to mess up the names of well-known cultural icons.
The human decency, we could deal with. The obsession with all things maple might be difficult, but we could handle it. However, calling Kermit the Frog “Green Dennis” is simply crossing the line.
