“Met a woman for mid afternoon meal, was a nice day so we sat outside. She was slightly odd but no major red flags until she said ‘hey my husbands on the way with our dog, come meet my dog’.
I thought – hey wasn’t expecting this but by that time he was with us. We chatted for a bit, I didn’t say much to the dog, it was all a bit embarrassing all round. I paid the bill, made excuses and left them to it. He was a nice dude and deserved better.”
