A Unique Date
U/wsawyer12: “I was in college and dating this girl.We both enjoyed attending smaller, emo-style bands’ live performances. Anyway, I accompanied her to Dallas along with a few other friends and my sister, who also happened to be dating the lead singer of one of the bands playing at the performance. We were all hanging around in the bar section that felt like a cellar with a lot of the band members long after the event.
As we were laughing and chatting away, my girlfriend said, “This looks like a really good place to screech.” Thus, perplexed…”Screech?” asks one of the band members. And then my girlfriend lets out this scream right away, turning everyone around in the room to watch.I knew the exact moment that I was done with a relationship…we got back to town, I…said, ‘Well, it’s been fun, but this relationship just isn’t going to work for me.’”
