I finally went over to his place to spend time with him after about three months of dating—it took some convincing to get my mom to let me—and we were playing Super Smash Brothers.
I’d previously informed him that, having grown up with two elder brothers and played the game often, I was pretty good at it. I promise I’ve never seen a man act like a kid after I hit him once. He screamed, threw his controller at the ground, and started cussing at me and the game. I grabbed my things and got out of there and never looked back.”
