U/notthedad19: “We’ve been together since high school and have been married for ten years. Megan, my spouse’s closest friend, and I are employed by the same organization, but in separate divisions. She told me she had to tell me something yesterday and wanted to meet with me after work. She instantly broke down and began crying when I met her. In an attempt to comfort her, I inquired as to what might be wrong.
She then revealed to me that her husband and my wife were having an affair. She also revealed to me that the biological father of my daughter, age three, was her husband. Upon confronting my spouse, she attempted to refute all of it. But when I told her that Megan told me about it, she broke down and started crying, too. I really don’t know what to do. I mean, everything was a lie, right?”
