Living a Fantasy

One day, she came home and informed me that she was expecting and that we were considering adopting. We scheduled a time to get her blood drawn a week later. Her response alarmed me, even if the test result was negative in the end.
She insisted that the doctor was mistaken and that she was pregnant. My spouse is utterly deluded. She’s buying clothes for them. She is putting pressure on me to begin in the nursery. My inaction is making her believe that I want to leave them and that I am going to doom my wife into the life of a single mom. I love her, but I don’t know what to do.”
