My dad’s eyes brightened, and they started talking and arguing over what was best to use, etc. Afterwards, they discussed Star Wars and Star Trek, as well as my habit of leaving dishes to soak and occasionally forgetting to take out the garbage and my hair in the shower drain. Yes. They got along because they both loved nerdy stuff, and I was ditzy.”
