Frodo’s Journey
Unknown to many, the setting of the well-known fantasy series The Lord of the Rings was partially inspired by the topography of the United States. We can better understand the journey the protagonists took throughout the books if we lay the Middle Earth map over the United States.
They appear even more remarkable when you realize how far their travels led them—from Florida to Nebraska.
