We actually have amazing visual proof for the idea that wolves are territorial in this map of scrawls. Every hue denotes a distinct pack and its movements within the same region of Minnesota’s Voyageurs National Park.
These wolves respect and stay away from the territories of all other packs in addition to wanting to remain in their own. They tend to stay in their lanes naturally, as evidenced by the minimal crossover.
