When Bill emerged from his home an hour later, he spotted the Summer family instantly and his face turned red. He strode over to where Cory was standing scoffed in disgust.
“What’s this garbage? Using your kids to try and guilt me into not running my business? You’re pathetic. Now get out of my driveway or I’m calling the police,” he spat. But Cory, Heather, Ada, and the twins just stared silently at him and held up their signs. They weren’t going to let him intimidate them.
