Trucking Business
Bill chose Chicago in part because of the favorable commercial opportunities it offered. He owned Whitman Transportation, a trucking company, and he had recently signed a contract with an Illinois freight company.
Though it wasn’t exactly above board, Bill chose to operate his business from his new neighborhood instead of paying high fees to operate out of a truck park. There was ample space for parking and his driveway was quite large. He was aware that a large number of semis occupying the spots may annoy his new neighbors, but they would either have to accept it or lump it.
