The world took notice of the Trueblue twins right once since it is very uncommon to see someone with blue eyes, much less an African-American person. Studies reveal that it is typically caused by a long-extinct genetic variant.
In fact, it’s so uncommon that, in one of the twins, despite having a genetic predisposition to it, it only showed up in one eye, leaving the other eye to stay the more typical brown.
