‘It all became too much’
J. Lo and Ben said in a joint statement that they realized they couldn’t enjoy the perfect day they wanted because of all the focus on them as a result of the media circus surrounding them.
They recognized how ridiculous things had gone to the point where, in a frantic attempt to protect their privacy during such a private occasion, they had even entertained the idea of hiring fictitious brides. They had decided to reschedule the wedding because they didn’t want the most memorable day of their lives to be spent running from the photographers.
