Four months after the postponed marriage, in January 2004, the rumored news—that Bennifer was officially over—was verified. The news was released by J.Lo’s representative, who also mentioned that Jennifer and Ben requested privacy “during this difficult time.”
There was no doubt that J. Lo appeared to be far more devastated by the breakup than Ben, which made many feel awful for her. This is understandable given that he was obviously already in love with Jennifer Garner.
