Moving on, as fast as possible
As previously noted, Ben and Jennifer Garner had a somewhat romantic relationship prior to their formal split. Therefore, when the two became formal in October 2004 (having been unofficial for months before), nobody was very shocked.
It’s obvious that J. Lo didn’t want to be the loser of the split—that is, the one left alone while the other person moves on happily—which may have contributed to her hasty decision to get back together with her ex-colleague and partner Marc Anthony.
